I'll tell you a dream:
I went outside
I saw the snow fall and the sun rise
Later the door rang
It was Nana and Papa
They said "Don't you wanna have over your friend?"
"How about Miles? He is my friend?"
Then you were here so I didn't go cu-cu-cu-cuckoo bananas!"
After the gun fight it was time to eat
But then a tornado came down the street
"Get inside, kids!" Hollered by Mom,
"Follow me quickly into the car"
How crazy can you get?
How crazy is this dream?
First there's snow then a tornado and now we're driving!
It was a close call but then as we fled
Mom crashed the car in the side of a shed
HU! A tornado!
I turned and screamed
A talking tornado was talking to me!
A tornado looking for his pet!
A tornado! A talking one yet!
So I said "Just don't go a-knocking all those houses down, you got it?"
And that was my dream.

I thought "Where the hell has this man been for the last decade?
Living in a hole?
In a room of endless black?
I can't believe I let him lead me on like that!"
Your hair is so long
Your eyes are so deep
Without the cover of the night you're just like me
I need you more than I want to admit
Are you terrified of clams? Or do you love it?
And you called my name
I love it when you call my name
I'm all alone
I wait for death, for you.
My self esteem is breaking
Your voice I hear is making me feel like I'm swimming in sewage
I don't want to ever lose it, or lose you
I need nothing but you.

I asked for an answer.

I'm reminded by the many things we share

Early memories reflecting in our minds.
Shadows of doubt that trigger us to fall back
and stall us from ever moving forward
That test our trust
That take us apart
Love lost is never lost, it's love not burning

I won't let go of you
Toxic is not meant for you or me
We have a deep connection that you don't see
He will go
We will grow
Be strong

Will make us become what is meant to be
